Alicia Keys' 2012 Grammy Updo

First of all let start off by saying I know the Grammy awards where like 3 weeks ago but I was so inspired my Alicia Keys updo that I wanted to make a tutorial but it was hard to find the time with 3 kids and school.  So anyways here it is, it's not exactly like her hair stylist did it but close enough and guess what it was super fast,  I hope you enjoy and Thanks for watching. 

SensationalNail Review

Hey everyone :)  So a few days ago I was watching allthatglitters21 on Youtube.com and she did a demo on the SensationNail starter gel kit and I decided to search my local CVS' and buy this kit lol.  The main reason was because I love giving myself a weekly manicure but hate waiting for them to dry to only mess my nails up and for them to only last 1-2 days UGH,  not to mention we are doing nails in school.  Anyway I figured you can't go wrong for $59.99 you get the LED lamp, cleanser, primer, base & top coat,  color polish (raspberry wine or scarlet red), lint free wipes,  nail buffer,  and manicure stick,  the gel manicure we use at school is by CND and just the lamp retails at $200.00 so this was a steal.  I just did my nails tonight and figured I give everyone some images I took with my phone,  ooh and rest assured I did pay for this kit with my own money and will keep you updated if the manicure lasts up to 2 weeks as the box stated.  So stay tuned and until then here is the website for more info,  http://www.sensationailgel.com/

My Whitney Houston Tribute

Hey everyone its been awhile since I posted something and I really need to get better at this sorry,  but I decided to do a makeup look inspired by Whitney Houston's "I wanna dance with somebody".  I actually was inspired to do it the day I found out she had passed because this was one of the videos that I instantly remembered and also because I'm too shy to sing in public anymore lol.  Hope you watch and enjoy.

Crackle Manicure

So a few days ago i decided to pull out my crackle nail polish because I was inspired by the giraffe lol,  well it doesn't really look like a giraffe but some people liked it so I decided to show everyone.  Surprisingly this manicure has lasted 3 days without chipping so I'm happy that I haven't had to do my nails over for the weekend.  Let me know it you like it and would like to see more of my manicures because I'm starting to feel creative again :D

Valentine's Day/ First Date Makeup Tutorial

So I decided to do a 2 part series for Valentine's day,  my first look is based on a more innocent first date makeup using different shades of pink with a black winged eyeliner and nude lips.  I finally got to debut my Mrs. Bunny Essential brush kit by Sigma which I loooove (here's the link if your interested in my brushes http://www.sigmabeauty.com/?Click=143009).  For my hair I decided to do a reverse french braid in the back with a high bun which looks simple in the front but from behind so interesting.  If anyone likes the hairstyle please comment on Youtube.com and I'll be happy to get a tutorial up ASAP lol.  Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching :)

Special K Challenge

So today I started the 2 week Special K challenge,  if anyone hasn't heard of it you basically eat certain special k products for breakfast and lunch with a light dinner and they guarantee you to lose up to 2 pants sizes or up to 6lbs.  I love their cereal so I figured I give it a try,  they also emailed me about the challenge and I found out the have a phone app that helps you plan out your meals and your snacks for the day as well as a detailed shopping list that you can view for just the day, week, or 2 weeks.  You can also track your progress,  pick you diet plan,  and provide you with recipes based on your lifestyle which you can swap out different meals if you don't like what was planned :)  Anyways for today so far so good lol I wasn't hungrey at the end of tonight and I have that satisfying feeling,  so if you want to share your diet plan with me of maybe join me on mine comment below and for more information on the Special k challenage please visit their site at www.specialk.com/.  Until next time have a blessed day <3
