It’s been aloooong time!

So it’s been 7 years since my last blog post, well a lot has changed, and where do I begin. Let’s start with 2014 the year I last posted, at this time I was ending a long term relationship of 10 years, I was a mother of 3 children that were entering puberty, I felt lost but the drive to protect my children kept me going. Later that year I changed career paths and became a veterinary nurse, specializing in emergency care, in 2015 we moved around trying to find our place and in 2016 I found a new love, a new home, with a new baby on the way. Things were again frightening but in a new ways, our family was growing, but the pain from our past crept in again. My two older daughters were diagnosed with PTSD and depression on top of puberty, entering high school, and then on top I was having a hard pregnancy. This new road was not easy and its still not but here we are in 2017, we became a family of 6, I have a loving partner, and now 4 beautiful children. In 2018 We officially started a non-profit animal sanctuary in our home for special needs animals and things were up and down to say the least, some can imagine and relate ( we had a lot going on). Our life is a roller coaster, we are still figuring out each other and ourselves. I will say having to help animals helped us and gave us comfort, there is nothing more rewarding then seeing animals thrive beyond their circumstances. Then here comes 2020, a year that was hard for us all, COVID came at the world hard. In October of that year I had to retire my career as an emergency veterinary nurse due to a slew of health conditions and family struggles, but my passion for the beauty arts resurfaced and gave me peace. Now in 2021 as the world along with our family are starting to pick up the pieces and find new paths. I am once again leaning on my skills and love for the beauty community to help me cope, maybe to help find or revisit a new pathfinder myself. I don’t know what our future holds but I hope by writing this blog it will help me and maybe others. I hope everyone has had a wonderful thanksgiving and lets start the holiday season together!
